I usually go with the Slip.
Inforgraphic of the Day: Valet.’s at-a-glance guide to tying scarves.
The key is finding a knot that works with what you’re wearing, sort of like a tie. If you’ve got a suit and topcoat on, you probably don’t want to go with the loose loop.
I’d say I’m somewhere between Basic and Escaped Mental Patient.
How do you scarf?

I am so jealous. I look for cake wrecks every time I go to the store, but I never see any. This one is awesome and disgusting.
Turkey Shaped Cake Yes, it will be submitted to Cakewrecks!
Bacon Baskets. Why? It’s Clear Lake and we have nothing better to do. Where else are we supposed to put the mashed potatoes?
Old Photo Friday: Grandmother and Grandfather’s wedding day. My grandmother is the one in the white dress (obviously) and my grandfather is standing behind her, also in a white/light colored suit. You also see Nana (Grandmother’s mother) to the right. Nana’s wedding photo was featured last week.
Wow.
This sweet man.
He whispered in my ear. He told me how his wife thinks he looks like an old man with a cane, so he brought a long umbrella with him instead. He leaned gently on it the entire time.
And then while he showed me an old photograph of him and his buddies, all at age 19, he recounted the time that they ran into Hitler outside of Rome and how it made him feel.
And then he asked me if when he dies, whether my generation will step up to take care of his homeless veteran friends. I told him that we would.
I don’t even know his name.
